Moana Tech builds smart, eco-friendly marine protection systems (corrosion protection,
barnacle protection, and strainer protection) and associated software, dashboards, and
services. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This
Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, how we
share it, your rights, and how to contact us.

and diagnostics, and location/GPS data to provide, operate, monitor, and improve our

●  We use data to operate devices, provide support and remote diagnostics, improve

●  We share data with authorized service providers, installers/dealers, and as required
by law; we do not sell your personal data for third-party marketing.

●  You have rights (access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, object) which

●  Boat details submitted in forms: boat make/model/year, hull material, length, unique

B. Device, Technical & Product Data:

●  Device identifiers and serial numbers, firmware version.
 
●  Telemetry and diagnostics (performance history stored on-device for up to three (3)
months as described in product documentation).
 
●  Operating parameters, error codes, usage metrics, uptime and status reports.
 
C. Location Data:

●  GPS coordinates and related location information generated by our Products for
monitoring, geofencing (if/when enabled), and remote diagnostics.
 
D. Communications & Support Data:

●  Records of communications with our sales, support, or service teams (email, phone
logs, support tickets).
 
●  Call recordings or chat transcripts — where permitted (we will notify or obtain
consent where required by law).
 
E. Payment & Transaction Data:

●  If applicable (in the case of sales through authorized resellers), billing information
and purchase history (we do not store full card data — payment processing is
handled by our payment processors).

visits, and provide technical documentation.
 
●  Customer support & troubleshooting: respond to questions, investigate issues,
and provide remedies under warranty or service agreements.

●  Lead qualification & sales follow-up: contact you about inquiries you submit,
provide quotes, demos, or site visits. By submitting lead/contact forms you consent to
this contact.
 
●  Product improvement & research: analyze telemetry and aggregated usage
patterns to improve products and user experience.
 
●  Billing & order fulfillment: process payments and manage orders where applicable.
 
●  Security & fraud prevention: detect and respond to security incidents and abuse.
 
●  Legal compliance & to protect rights: comply with laws, subpoenas, court orders,
or to enforce our Terms.

A. Service Providers & Subprocessors

instructions.

contact, boat, or device data with authorized installers, dealers, or resellers.

that produces legal effects or similarly significant outcomes about individuals. If that
